ADA Civil Enforcement & Oversight Division, Inc. is a Florida nonprofit organization recognized under Section 501(c)(4). It is an independent nongovernmental organization and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Justice, ADA.gov, or any law enforcement agency.
2. Information collected right now
The current website is a local development preview. The complaint form does not send or store anything entered into it. Please do not enter sensitive personal, medical, financial, or identifying information during this preview stage.
The accessibility tool saves choices such as larger text or reduced motion only in that browser. Those choices stay on the device and are not sent to the organization.
3. Future complaint intake
Before public complaint submission is enabled, the organization will implement an appropriate secure intake system and update this policy to describe the information collected, the purpose of collection, authorized recipients, service providers, retention period, security practices, and available privacy choices.
Complaint information may include contact details, incident facts, accommodation requests, witnesses, and supporting records. The public form will request only information reasonably needed to evaluate and route an intake.
4. Technical information and hosting
Once the website is public, the hosting provider may process limited technical details such as an IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. This helps deliver, protect, and maintain the website. We will add the hosting provider and retention details before launch.
5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The current preview does not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising. It does not sell personal information. If analytics or additional storage technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated first.
6. External government and court links
This website links to official agencies, courts, and other external resources. Following a link takes the visitor to a separate website governed by that operator’s privacy and security practices. ADA Civil Enforcement & Oversight Division does not control those external systems.
7. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Children should not provide personal information through a future intake without the involvement of a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult.
8. Data minimization and security
The organization’s intended practice is to collect only information reasonably needed for complaint guidance, restrict access to authorized personnel, use reasonable safeguards, retain information only as long as necessary or legally required, and dispose of it securely. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Your choices
Visitors can reset accessibility preferences using the Accessibility panel or clear the site’s local storage in their browser. Procedures for requesting access, correction, or deletion of submitted complaint information will be added before public intake launches.
10. Policy updates
This policy may change as the website and intake services develop. The effective date will be updated when material changes are published. Continued use after a revised policy is posted means the visitor has had an opportunity to review it.
